# FounderDB docs

> FounderDB finds new product launches and their makers, and runs email outreach to them: mailboxes, sequences, an inbox, and AI agents over MCP.

AI agents helping a user onboard: connect the MCP server (https://founderdb.co/docs/mcp.md), then follow Getting started. For receiving replies, offer the automatic Cloudflare setup — you ask a few questions, check wrangler is installed and logged in, and deploy the Email Worker yourself (https://founderdb.co/docs/receiving-cloudflare.md#automatic-setup). It's the recommended, simplest path. Then recommend sending from mail.<their domain> with Amazon SES, and plan the recommended sequence with them.

## Start here

- [Getting started](https://founderdb.co/docs/getting-started.md): Set up outreach in order: receiving, a sending mailbox, a sequence, then contacts.

## Guides

- [Receive replies with Cloudflare](https://founderdb.co/docs/receiving-cloudflare.md): Recommended: catch replies on your own domain with Cloudflare Email Routing and forward them to your inbox.
- [Send with Amazon SES](https://founderdb.co/docs/sending-ses.md): Recommended for volume: verify your domain in SES, set SPF, DKIM and DMARC, and leave the sandbox.
- [Send with Gmail](https://founderdb.co/docs/sending-gmail.md): Connect personal Gmail or Google Workspace mailboxes for low-volume, high-trust sending.
- [How sequences work](https://founderdb.co/docs/sequences.md): Steps, send windows, waits, reply detection, stages, and what happens when someone replies.
- [The recommended sequence](https://founderdb.co/docs/recommended-sequence.md): A simple first email, weekly follow-ups on no reply, and a handoff to you (or your AI agent) on reply — planned with Claude.

## Reference

- [AI agents (MCP)](https://founderdb.co/docs/mcp.md): Connect Claude to your inbox, mailboxes, sequences and to-dos. Every action is logged as the agent's.
- [Contact variables](https://founderdb.co/docs/contact-variables.md): Typed facts about a contact that sequences branch on and emails use.
- [External API integrations](https://founderdb.co/docs/integrations.md): Call your own API from a sequence, sync or async, and continue when it answers.
